S’asseoir

S’asseoir belongs to the 3rd group of French verbs (Irregular verbs), and it is a pronominal verb. In English, s’asseoir means “to sit down” or “to take a seat.”

  • Passé récent is the equivalent of “just (did something)” in English

Note: you can also use these in the past by conjugating aller, venir, and être in imparfait instead of présent.
